Data cable repair and installation, along with fibre optic cable installation and repair, has been the backbone of our service offering at Networx3 since the company was established in late 2003.
Data cable repair refers to Cat5 and Cat6 cable, with the more recent versions of each being Cat5e – the ‘e’ standing for enhanced - and Cat6a, with the ‘a’ standing for augmented.
Our team of engineers are fully qualified, and our in-house training facilities along with our commitment to continually invest in the good quality, up to date equipment allows them to carry out work efficiently and effectively. We never give work to outside contractors and all of our engineers have security clearance to either SC (Security check) or DV (Developed vetting) level.
Even more importantly, we have a philosophy at Networx3 of getting things right ‘first time’ and it permeates all of our company activities.
We often get called out to test a cable network then it is not performing optimally or when a flaw or failure becomes apparent. There are three main factors that can cause performance issues with Cat5 or Cat6 cabling: Vandalism, rodent damage or the poor work of other contractors. We will inspect and test the cabling thoroughly to establish if a repair is required.
It is really important to us that we minimise service downtime for our customer, and provide a long-lasting and durable cable repair.
