Office Installations

Brand Rex Blolite+ is ideal for office installations and is a single fibre blowing system.

We can blow up to 12 fibres, for an internal network. The Blolite fibres are easily installed into the Blolite micro ducts without disruption to the workplace. Once installed the fibres are simply terminated and are compatible with all standard optical connectors. Blolite is extremely reliable, with a zero failure rate since the first installations in 1988. It has been the system of choice for premier users such as the Scottish Parliament, Tower42 London, Edinburgh University, British MOD, Greater Manchester Police and the US Navy to name but a few.

Fibre To The Home (FTTH) Installations

We use Emtelle fibreflow system which provides a system based on small, light-weight, extremely robust microducts. The tube bundles come in various diameters and are normally configured in assemblies of 1,2,4,7,12 ideal for diverse inside and outside applications. The fibre units provide fibre counts from 2 to 12 (single mode and multimode), meeting most last-mile requirements.  Once the microduct route is in place there’s no more digging to do. To install the blown fibre the van arrives at the blow point with the equipment and the pan of fibre to be installed. The blowing head is linked to the first tube, and the air supply is connected.  The fibre is fed into the blowing head and within minutes the fibre emerges at the far end, and can be connected at once. The customer can be ‘on-line’ within hours.

Long Distances And ‘Backbone’ Networks

The Micro Blow system using a  CBS Air Stream blowing machine is used to blow fibres over longer distances. We can blow from 12 to 288 fibre optic cables and have several types of blowing machine at our disposal to install external networks over huge distances. For large scale installations we have also invested in the additional equipment required such as drum trailers, hydraulic assist winches, and off terrain vehicles for remote areas. We can install any blown fibre network, anywhere.
