Networx3’s latest data cable installation job
Networx3 are bringing super-fast communications infrastructure to wildest rural Wales.
A team of engineers have been installing fibre optic cabling to a network of substations at a hydroelectric power station.
The new network will mean that despite being in an isolated countryside location that communications will be as fast as those in a capital city.
Networx3 are on phase two of the project which will mean that managers will get real-time information from every part of the hydroelectric power station.
The Networx3 team are terminating sky-wrap cable into specialist cannisters that are raised overhead.
Networx3 commercial director Caroline Earnshaw said: “We are working for an established client of ours in a beautiful part of the Welsh countryside. It goes to show that when it comes to high-stakes critical infrastructure work that Networx3 is the trusted partner for many of our clients including HM Government, power companies and mobile phone firms.”
