Networx3’s festive giving helps local community hub
Networx3 has spread some early Christmas cheer with a corporate donation to support a local Grade II listed church.
St John the Evangelist, Worsthorne, is less than two miles from Networx3 headquarters.
Networx3 founder Ian Ashworth decided to support the church’s 2021 annual Christmas fair with a £250 company donation.
He said: “We were more than happy to support this event with charitable giving from Networx3 and we know that our gesture was very much appreciated.”
The money was spent on selection boxes for children visiting Santa’s Grotto, to buy star prizes for the vicar’s tombola bottle raffle and for pie and peas refreshments.
The fair, on the last weekend of November, raised more than £2,500 for church funds as well as proving to be a well-attended community event.
